Apple Building ‘Netbook’ – via Silicon Alley Insider.

One of the things I love about a “Netbook” is the idea that it often is neither Apple, nor Microsoft, but Linux and Open Office. So when rumors run around about an Apple Netbook, well, I’m a little skeptical that they can do much more than create a smaller Macbook. What would be a real killer though, is a $500 Macbook.
