I’ve been playing with Wordpress for a couple of years now. Happily. It makes this whole blogging thing a piece of cake. Not that I’m a shining example of a blogger, but if it were made difficult by a buggy platform, I’d probably do something else. So thanks Wordpress.

My biggest, and really only, frustration has been finding a free theme that would satisfy me for a while. In fact I had given up and was shopping for a “pro” theme. I even considered going for Thesis. You know, the one shamelessly plugged by “real” bloggers like Chris Brogan.

Before committing to plastic I gave it one more shot looking for a freebie theme. It’s always worth trying one more time before giving in, and that’s when I found WooThemes. Though I always new they were there, I was overwhelmed by all the options for Wordpress themes.

Very smart of them. I’m seriously considering paying for a theme from them in the near future since they have earned my trust with their freebie.
