The mountain of sugar is giving the impression he has zero of where he's going or what he's doing, which is forgivable…. how many people are on the same boat? The only concern here is that he's the captain of a ship supposedly storing and protecting the privacy of it's passengers. A lot of passengers who value their privacy (a valuable asset which marketing companies swap and trade for their own personal profit) are getting off the ship. It just doesn't sound like this captain knows where he's going, and the passengers can see the fog… s l o w l y enveloping the ship.

The ones who have disembarked watch and listen with curiosity as the mountain of sugar starts to dissolve at the wheel.
