Above are some wonderful anatomical images from the exhibition “Lewd and Scandalous Books,” on view at Monash University library in Melbourne, Australia until September 30th. I especially love the top image, which brings to mind the Anatomical Venus trope.

You can visit the virtual exhibition–from which these images are drawn–by clicking here.

I thought there’d be Cake

Although I appreciate, and really love, her writing. What got my attention was the visual representation of her stories she did for her website. OMG, dioramas, and that wonderfully quirky video – it’s a must-see.

The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Stretching

This is a project that I am proud of, but glad is over. That doesn’t mean I wouldn’t do it again, it’s an accomplishment to have a book published. Barbara did a great job researching and providing rational, practical advice and expertise. I submitted over 200 illustrations, and the final product was released at the end of 2007. It’s available on Amazon and I expect you to go an buy one right now!
